Xina Eiland, President and CEO of X+PR, has established herself as an authority on digital media and multicultural communications. Xina began her career working on public health campaigns, where she was a vital part of developing and launching a national tech health campaign entitled “A Healthy Baby Begins with You.” This four-year campaign included celebrity engagement with Tonya Lewis Lee, the wife of Spike Lee, as well as a significant early adoption of social media to build awareness.
As an engagement builder, X+PR’s work has earned exceptional results for a diverse group of clients, such as: Digital DC, a national marketing campaign and economic initiative to increase the visibility of Washington, D.C., as a leading community in the innovation and high-tech economy; Blogalicious, a blogging community that celebrates diversity in digital media; and Ford Motor Company Fund, a nonprofit arm of Ford Motor Company that creates community outreach service programs.
Xina is the Co-Founder of Black Female Founders (BFF), an organization that serves as convener to provide conversations and solutions for Black female tech founders. For almost a decade, she also has worked as the publicist for the Congressional Black Caucus. Xina has her Masters in Health Administration and Bachelors in Communications, both from the University of Michigan. In her spare time, she is an avid runner and enjoys traveling to and experiencing new places.
